They are almost 30 years old! Very rare to find these in boxes as most were sold on blisterpacks. Road Champs issued this series of diecast cars and trucks in 1983. 1/64 scale. They are all unplayed with. Each box has the car or truck that is marked on the box. Some boxes have shelfware, or tears to the flaps. The odd cab may have lost a smokestack, but only a few. Many of the cars are highly collectible, as they are the only known examples of that model ever made. You get the following 172 cars and trucks: 51 cars in the lot 40 jeeps and pickups 8 Ford Model A 1 Wheel Loader. 24 Cabs 48 Semi Cabs and Trailer combos There are Datsun 280ZX, Ford Thunderbird, Mazda RX-7, Porsche 928, Jeep, Camaro, Riviera, LeBaron, Mack, Kenworth and others. Most of the trailers are licensed brands such as Allied, Good Year, Baskin Robbins, ABF, Federal Express, Kenwood Van Lines and many more. Many of these cars and trucks sell for $20 to $50 each. There are duplicates, triplicates etc… of many of the vehicles. You don’t see many of these Road Champs for sale anymore, particularly in their original boxes. Any dealers selling vintage Hot Wheels, Majorette, Tomica, Matchbox etc… would be well served adding this collection to their mix. Pieced out, this lot should bring about $2,500. Up for auction is a 1998 kenworth w-900L This truck has a 550 caterpillar that was redone buy kenworth at 776392 the engine now has two leaking orings on the clyinder liners #1 and 6 according to caterpillar so their is anti freze in the oil their is also a little crack on right front hood corner. Everthing else on this truck is in good shape The front end was totally rebuilt the rear suspension was up graded The truck has 80% brake and new cam bushings and 8 brand new virgin drive tires. It has double frame rails super 10 transmission and 390 ratio ds 404 rears.This truck is also for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Truck starts and runs good and drives decent for a 1985. Truck has 400 big block Cummings with 13 speed trans. Dash shows 198*** miles. I have know idea how correct that is. Truck has been sitting for while. Needs greased and lubed. Clutch works. The peddle don’t come all the way back up on its own and is very stiff. The rod it hooks to under the cab is very dry. Lift it up with your foot and then its fine. Think the cable needs lube or the spring adjusted. Alum rims with Alum tanks, radiator was replaced along with battery’s just a couple weeks ago. Front tired look decent, back tires need some attention. 8 bag air ride. I got this truck and done nothing with it so im selling.
